PLC automatically adjusts all purge, run and wash-up functions for desired coating chemistry
2 Smart Pumps
This circulator is designed for the printer that routinely changes between UV and aqueous coatings and wants to keep the coating chemistries completely separate while maintaining a high degree of automation.
The LC1A is positioned underneath an LC2 and is a direct “plug and play” into the circulator’s PLC control. This setup provides a separate set of pumps and hoses for both the UV and water base coatings.
The operator switches these line connections on the chamber body to coincide with the chemistry being run. Completely independent circuits eliminate any cross contamination concerns.

LithoCoat Specialty Coating Circulator

Designed with peristaltic pumps for metallic, pearlescent, opaque and other “difficult-to-run” specialty coatings.
Pumps wide range of viscosities up to 600 centipoise.
Functions as stand-alone system or fully integrated into LithoCoat Chamber/Anilox System or connected to PLC of another H&B Circulator for touch screen operation.
Includes manual wash-up procedure to minimize coating waste.

Options:
  • Duo Mixer - Mixing & Anti-Foaming Device
  • Jacketed Tank with Chiller
The Duo Mixer is an advanced mixing and antifoaming device that works by introducing a large air bubble into the bottom of a tank.
As the bubble rises, it mixes the liquid and helps to dissipate foam. This significantly reduces foam & micro foam in inks and coating.
Applicable for all tank sizes, the pneumatic agitation requires no electricity. A welcomed feature of this system is its easy start-up and handling.
Features:
Introduces large air bubble into bottom of tank that rises to mix liquid and help dissipate foam
Reduces foam & micro foam in inks & coatings
Optional chiller unit with jacketed tank
Pneumatic agitation requires no electricity
Applicable for all tank sizes
Some coatings require temperature control to maintain sustainability.
For these materials, Harris & Bruno offers an optional chiller unit that can be incorporated into the stainless steel, water jacketed reservoir.
The water jacketed reservoir can also be connected to the press chill water supply if that is available.
Features:
Optional chiller unit & jacketed tank offered for coatings that require temperature control to maintain stability
Tank is stainless steel, water-jacketed reservoir
If available, jacketed tank may be connected to press chill water supply

Additional Circulator Options

Following the success of the LithoCoat Chamber/Anilox System comes the newest innovation in heating units for coatings.
In response to the rising demands of coating technology, Harris & Bruno International and our in-house team of coating experts have developed the LithoCoat Inline Heating Unit.
With precision engineering and our signature “attention to detail,” we have produced a seamlessly integrated inline heating unit that accurately and consistently provides the highest level of process control necessary for optimal UV coating performance.
The LithoCoat Inline Heater allows press operators to easily control UV coating temperature, resulting in better coating release, enhanced leveling characteristics and increased gloss levels.
No longer is ambient air temperature an influential factor in UV coating performance. This unique design provides continuous closed loop temp. monitoring at the anilox roll surface.
With this in place, the release characteristics of the UV coating from the anilox roll to the blanket significantly improve, thus resulting in job repeatability and higher gloss levels.
In addition, the inline design is seamlessly integrated into the LithoCoat Circulator offering the added benefit of wash-up to the list. So there you have it … state-of-the-art technology that takes the performance of your UV coating system to the next level.
Features:
  • Improved UV coating release characteristics
  • Improved UV coating leveling and lay down
  • Enhanced gloss levels
  • Temperature control at the anilox roll surface
  • Inline design & small footprint
  • PLC, touch-screen controls integrated into the LithoCoat Circulator
  • Temperature regulation within +/- 1 degrees C
  • Improved job repeatability & process control
