menichetti was established in 1950 by vincenzo menichetti and has specialised in the production and handling of animal glue ever since. in 1990 the changes in market conditions persuaded the two sons of our founder, to focus on the development of traditional animal glues into a range of composition glues in both dried and jelly form. these products are characterized by being high tack, clean running, lay-flat properties and with the added bonus of being environment friendly. our long standing and in-depth knowledge of the manufacture of animal glue from the traditional raw materials, such as cattle hide, plus very close relationships with world-wide animal glue experts ensures us a constant quality control on our base ingredients. we are able to select very carefully our raw material sources all over the world.
the building of a new factory in 2001 and the subsequent extension works in 2009 allowed us to expand production capacity and to add to our range a new line of water based glues. the main strength of menichetti, as already mentioned, is our ability to tailor-make glue solutions which meet the needs of each individual customer. on top of this we also ensure our production processes remain flexible in relation to customer service and demand. the menichetti name is synonymous in the glue world with research, quality control, innovation and after- sales support.
